International Taekwon‑Do Federation

On May 21, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between the National Taekwon‑Do ITF Federation of Afghanistan and the Directorate of Physical Education, General Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education, at the central office of the Directorate. This MoU was signed by Master Shoaib Rahmani, President of the National Taekwon‑Do ITF Federation of Afghanistan, and Mr. Mohammad Ebrahim Rahimi, Director of the Directorate of Physical Education.

The purpose of this agreement is to foster mutual cooperation in promoting, developing, and advancing ITF Taekwon‑Do within schools and educational institutions across the country. This MoU lays the foundation for the implementation of structured training programs, educational initiatives, competitions, and talent development activities aimed at empowering the younger generation on a national level.

Under this Memorandum, both parties have committed to establishing a long-term, constructive, and effective partnership within their available resources and capacities:

The National Taekwon‑Do ITF Federation of Afghanistan has pledged to provide professional training programs, certified instruction, regular championships, and capacity-building opportunities to elevate the standard of Taekwon‑Do education across educational institutions.

The Directorate of Physical Education has, in turn, committed to ensuring coordination, facilitating inter-institutional cooperation, and providing necessary support and opportunities for the athletes and programs of the National Federation.

At the conclusion of the signing, the National Taekwon‑Do ITF Federation of Afghanistan extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Mohammad Ebrahim Rahimi and his esteemed colleagues for their warm reception, cooperative spirit, and unwavering support toward the advancement of ITF Taekwon‑Do in Afghanistan.
